As the deadline looms, International buyers looking to take advantage of the U.K. Stamp Duty Holiday and ahead of the 2% non-resident surcharge coming into effect 1 April 2021 need to act sooner rather than later.

For property purchases that complete before 31 March 2021, international buyers will enjoy savings on both counts. When put into context, a buyer of a £1 million property will save £35,000 in stamp duty, whereas the savings for a £3 million property is equivalent to £75,000.
