Based on flash estimates, prices of non-landed private homes increased 2.1% q-o-q in Q3 2023, reversing from the 0.6% q-o-q marginal decline in Q2.

Therefore, private home prices are not expected to turn negative but will even out and stabilise in the months ahead. Homebuyers should not time the market, but instead purchase based on prevailing housing needs.
